The Club

The Tennis Club Hammamet was founded in 1987 as a result of a citizens' initiative. It is registered under visa n° 48 dated 14 September 1987. At its inception, the Club did not possess any court and trainings were held in partner hotels of the city. Over the years, the Club infrastructure and its resources have been developed to offer to members today::

  • 4 clay tennis courts that meet international standards
  • 2 mini tennis courts for children under 7 years
  • A sports hall (aerobics & taekwondo)
  • A modern club house with a secretary's office, a cafeteria with a beautiful terrace overlooking the courts, and changing rooms for men and women.
  • Bleachers for up to 400 people

Club's mission

Develop the tennis activity within the region and make the Club a place for sporting and cultural events.

Shine on a regional, national and even international level as an active educational association providing a healthy and supportive sport environment.

Club's goals

  • Democratize playing tennis to the new generation of the region.
  • Create an area of education, exchange, development and recreation for young people allowing them to raise not only their physical capabilities, but also their social skills.
  • Train young players who are capable to stand out in national and international competitions
  • Contribute to the animation of the region and to its economic development by organizing local and international tournaments.
